Big dreams start here

Zach Youth

Each year, Zach Youth serves more than 4,000 young people through camps, classes, and pre-professional training that fuel creativity, confidence, and community.

Our Signature Programs Include:

  • Theater for the Very Young – Interactive shows for ages 6 months to 5 years
  • Camps and Classes - Offered year-round at our Downtown Campus, Zach North, and in Round Rock, our programs build performance and creative skills like singing, dancing, acting, and audition technique—all in an environment that celebrates individuality.
  • Training Programs – Zach’s advanced theater training is recognized as among the best in the nation. Students receive high-level instruction in a supportive space that challenges and inspires. Many alumni go on to top performing arts programs and build thriving careers on Broadway, in television, and beyond.

Whether a student is stepping into the spotlight for the first time or preparing for a life in the arts, Zach Youth is where their story takes center stage.

Where art meets community

Zach Connect

Zach Connect brings our community together—beyond the stage and into classrooms, conversations, and celebrations. From field trips to Pride Night, these programs are designed to spark discovery and strengthen the connections that light up Austin—together.

  • School Shows + Pre-Show Workshops – We subsidize tickets for more than 30,000 students each year from 230 schools to attend daytime matinee performances as part of their school day. Many students also receive pre-show classroom workshops that tie each production’s themes into their curriculum—creating meaningful connections between learning and live performance.
  • Reader's Theatre – Through performance-based literacy instruction, 3rd–5th graders build reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence—while discovering the joy of bringing stories to life.
    •  “This was a real confidence-building experience and pushed some of our kids out of their comfort zone.” — Educator

  • Community Events – Special events like Pride Nights, Stage Talks, and Zachademia Nights invite our city into the conversation. These fun, thoughtful gatherings bring people together around shared experiences—and celebrate all the ways we connect through art.
