This play was commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and was first produced at the Kennedy Center during the 2019-2020 season.

 

Take flight on a hilarious adventure with Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!. When a bus driver takes an unexpected break, chaos ensues as a feisty pigeon takes the wheel! Based on the beloved “Pigeon” picture books by Mo Willems, this whimsical musical is filled with song, laughter, and plenty of feathered fun!

Runtime: 50 minutes with no intermission

Featuring Vince Guaraldi’s iconic jazz score and plenty of festive charm, this heartwarming story reminds us all what the season is truly about.
