This play was commissioned by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and was first produced at the Kennedy Center during the 2019-2020 season.

Take flight on a hilarious adventure with Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical!. When a bus driver takes an unexpected break, chaos ensues as a feisty pigeon takes the wheel! Based on the beloved “Pigeon” picture books by Mo Willems, this whimsical musical is filled with song, laughter, and plenty of feathered fun!

Ticket Discounts

Zach believes theater should be for everyone. That’s why we offer 50 Pay-What-You-Wish tickets for each Zach Theater production during its first week. These tickets—priced at whatever works for you—become available at noon on the first Tuesday of a show’s run.

Pay-What-You-Wish Mainstage FAQs
- How can I purchase a ticket?
  
  Pay-What-You-Wish (PWYW) tickets become available at noon on the first Tuesday of each production’s run. You can purchase them here.
- How many tickets can I buy?
  
  Each guest may purchase up to four tickets.
- Are seats assigned?
  
  Yes! When purchasing online, at the Box Office, or over the phone, you’ll choose your seat at that time. PWYW Mainstage tickets are available in Sections A, B, and C.
- Who can I contact if I have questions?
  
  Our friendly Zach Box Office staff is happy to help! Call 512-476-0541 x1 during Box Office hours:

Patrons 65 and over receive 10% off tickets to any Zach production.
