At its center, Zach Theater has been both witness to and participant in this dance of progress and creativity. As Austin continues to grow and evolve, so do we.
We’re launching a bold rebrand alongside an ambitious new strategic plan that will position Zach as the city’s premier creative hub—expanding our role beyond theater and into a dynamic center for artistic innovation, collaboration, and community engagement.
Rebranding isn’t just about logos or color palettes. It’s about embracing our role as a vital, vibrant beacon for creativity in Austin. The light line in our new logo—and throughout our visual identity—represents that spark, that unique energy in Zach and in all of us.
Together, we’re stepping into a new chapter of creative renewal. Follow the light, bring your own dazzling energy, and come as you are. Because at Zach Theater, we all shine brighter when we shine together.
Light is at the heart of everything we do. It draws our attention to what we need to see. It shows us the way to new connections, new ideas, and new experiences. Light speaks to the experience of being on stage, in the audience, learning through the stage, and connection with each other in Austin. Light is the opposite of heavy, too. Because even in heavy moments we lighten each other’s load when we come together. The more people shine and light up others, the more bright the light becomes. And light exists and perhaps is most powerful in the darkest of spaces. Each one of us brings light so we can all shine together.
Our logo is a custom monoline wordmark inspired by and conceptually representing the light emanating from within and around Zach programs. It has a life of its own, twisting, turning, and dancing in unique ways — as if the logo is a show in itself.
